Labor charges shall be billed hourly, and any unused labor totals will be credited back to the va medical center on the next billing cycle, upon receipt of the service report.

A minimum warranty of one year for all parts, labor, workmanship, and equipment shall be furnished.

The government will evaluate quotations using the comparative evaluation process outlined in far **** b 3, where quotations will be compared to one another to determine which provides the best benefit to the government.

Potential bidders shall have a field service representative located within 200 miles of the west haven campus of the va connecticut healthcare system and have proper equipment, materials, and support to provide services.

Any questions must be submitted in writing no later than tuesday, august 11, 2026 at 12: 00 pm est.

The contracting officer co andor contracting officers representative cor specifically reserve the right to reject any of the service providers personnel and refuse them permission to work on the equipment outlined herein, based upon credentials provided.

The commission is seeking competitive pricing.

A vendor submitting a bid should be registered in the myfloridamarketplace mfmp system and with sunbiz prior to the bid opening.

Bids are due by 2:00 PM on August 13, 2026. It is recommended that proposals be submitted in advance, at least one day prior to the specified date and time to allow for a timely receipt.

Payment terms are net 30 days from receipt of invoice. Certified payrolls indicating payment of prevailing wage rates must be submitted with each invoice involving labor before the college may make any payments.

Award will be made to the lowest responsive bidder, who meets or exceeds the specifications general specifications and requirements conditions of this document.

The contractor shall have demonstrated experience with commercial and institutional glazing work, including storefront systems, safety glass, insulated glass units, emergency glass replacement, and work in occupied public facilities. Experience with historic or architecturally sensitive buildings is preferred.

Failure to adhere to and comply with any of the conditions and specifications of this bid and the contract may subject the contract to cancellation upon ten days written notice. In the event of cancellation, the original vendor will be responsible for indemnifying the college for costs incurred in obtaining a new contract and for any increase in costs of service involved for the duration of the term of the original contract.

The vendor waives any dispute or claim not made in writing and received by the college within thirty 30 days of the occurrence giving rise to the dispute or claim.

Vendors currently on the NYS labor department debarred list will not be considered for award. Bidders must be registered with the NYS Department of Labor. Failure to comply with sexual harassment prevention policies or Iran divestment act requirements may result in disqualification.

The successful offeror must have valid licenses to perform work in the country of Japan.
