Timber Harvesting Government Bids & RFPs

The government will award a firm fixed price contract to the responsible quoter whose quote is most advantageous to the government as determined by the solicitation evaluation criteria.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation. NAICS code **** with small business size standard of 500 employees.

Amendment 001 changes the site visit date from Thursday, October 22, 2026 to Thursday, October 29, 2026.

Timber must be cut and removed by 1 November 2028 for item 1, and 31 December 2027 for items 2 and 3. The contract states: cut and remove from the sale area all timber designated for harvest under this sale agreement on or before 1 november 2028 for item 1, and 31 december 2027 for items 2 and 3.

For contracts above $5,000, 20% of bid price is required within 10 days of acceptance. The document states: 5, 000 or 20 percent of the bid price, whichever is greater, is required within ten 10 days after notice of acceptance of the bid.
